Mukul Roy not to attend TMC working committee meeting

Kolkata, Feb 27 (IBNS): Amid speculations of a rift, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mukul Roy on Friday said he will not attend the party's working committee meeting on Saturday.

He said he will not be able to attend the meeting due to the Union Budget, which will be presented on Saturday,  and due to 'some personal work'.

"I will not be able to go to the meeting tomorrow," he told a news channel.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday lost her cool when she was asked about  senior TMC leader Mukul Roy.

"This is about the state's finance issue..Don't behave like this," Banerjee told the reporters while addressing a press conference after her government presented its budget on the same day.
