Mumbai bakery making marijuana cakes raided, three arrested
Mumbai/IBNS: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested three persons, including a woman, for allegedly running a bakery that used marijuana as an ingredient in the cakes, media reports said.
The agency confiscated 830 grams of edible weed brownie and 160 grams of marijuana during the raid, the agency said, according to an NDTV report.
"We explored a new trend among the young generation of consuming substance through brownie weed cakes which are mixed and baked accordingly. This is the first case in India in which the edible weed is used for baking cake," NCB Mumbai said, ther report stated.
The arrested persons are being interrogated.
Further investigations are on, the agency said.
