Najma Heptulla resigns as member of MP Waqf Board
He submitted his resignation to the Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh State Waqf Board.
"Dr. Najma Heptulla, the Union Minister of Minority Affairs, has resigned as a Member of Madhya Pradesh State Waqf Board in view of her induction in the Union Cabinet. The resignation with effect from 27th May, 2014 has been submitted to the Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh State Waqf Board," the Ministry of Minority Affairs said in a statement.
