Narendra Modi to address nation shortly

New Delhi, Dec 31 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday will address the nation.

PMO India tweeted: "The Prime Minister will address the nation at 7:30 PM this evening."

This will be his first televisied address since announcing the ban of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 currency notes on Nov 8.

The 50 days time given by the government to submit banned currency notes ended on Friday.
