Narendra Modi to visit Japan on Oct 28 to attend 13th India-Japan Annual Summit

New Delhi, Oct 12 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay an official working visit to Japan on Oct 28-29 for the 13th India-Japan Annual Summit, officials said on Friday.

This will be the fifth Annual Summit meeting between Prime Minister Modi and the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and their twelfth meeting overall since 2014.

Under the framework of the Special Strategic and Global Partnership between India and Japan, the two leaders will have wide-ranging discussions over two days on bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest, read a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.

Prime Minister Modi’s visit will reaffirm the traditional bonds of friendship between the two countries and strengthen their multifaceted cooperation in diverse fields.

It will also advance the vision of India and Japan working together to promote peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region and beyond.
