New Delhi: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting has begun at Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi, with 38 parties participating in it.

The NDA meeting is chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is being organised to mark the completion of 9 years of the BJP-led government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to chalk out strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha poll.

As per sources, there is no possibility of any discussion on sharing of seats.

Earlier, Modi arrived at the venue and was welcomed by the BJP National President JP Nadda and other alliance partners.

The BJP allies like the Shiv Sena led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the NCP faction led by Ajit Pawar, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan, the Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal founder Upendra Kushwaha are also attending the NDA meet.

On Monday, BJP President JP Nadda said, "The NDA's reach and scope have increased over the years due to the good governance given in the last nine years."

"The NDA alliance is not for power, but this alliance is for service to strengthen the country," he said.

Calling the alliance unbreakable and firm, Nadda said that NDA's unity is based on the interest of the country.
