New rules for bureaucrats for efficient governance under Modi
New Delhi, Aug 8 (IBNS): To provide clean and efficient governance, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken measures to make the bureaucrats go by some new rules or 19 new pointers, said reports on Friday.
As per the new rules, all policy decisions will be such that they are guided by public interest.
An amendment to the All India Service (Conduct) Rules of 1968 meant for the civil servants will effect the new set of rules.
After the amendments the bureaucrats will have to maintain political neutrality and be accountable and transparent in their duties.
