New Zealand mosques attacks: Nine Indian origin people missing
Christchurch, Mar 16 (IBNS): Nine Indian origin people went missing following the attacks on two mosques in New Zealand's Christchurch city on Friday that left the nation shocked, officials said.
Indian envoy to New Zealand Sanjiv Kohli tweeted: "As per updates received from multiple sources there are 9 missing persons of indian nationality/ origin. Official confirmation still awaited. Huge crime against humanity. Our prayers with their families."

The gunman attacked two mosques on Friday and killed 49 people and left at least 20 others injured.
As it was Friday, several people were present at the mosques for prayers when the attack took place.
The attacker live-streamed the attack footage on the social media.
The attacker, who was identified as an Australian, also published a 'manifesto' online.
So far, three people have been taken into custody and one person was charged with murder.
The main suspect was produced before the court on Saturday.
As per BBC, Australian Brenton Tarrant, 28, appeared in the dock in a white prison shirt and handcuffs. Further charges are expected to be made against him.

New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern has said the country's gun law will be changed.
The main suspect was remanded to custody without plea. He is due to appear before the court once again on Apr 5.

The country's police said police presence around the country have been heightened.
The incident drew worldwide condemnation and leaders, including US President Donald Trump, expressed their shock over the attack.
