Nitish Kumar meets PM Modi
New Delhi, Mar 26 (IBNS): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday and raised the financial issues of his state.
Kumar raised the demand for Backward Reserve Fund for the development of his state.
"We have made one thing clear that Bihar needs assistance because of the new schemes of the government," he told mediapersons.
"The Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar, called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi today. It was a courtesy call," an official statement said.
This is the first time that the two met after Modi became Prime Minister and Kumar came back to power in Bihar.
