Noida: Police arrests 4 in BJP leader murder case

Noida, June 8 (IBNS): Four people were arrested by the Noida Police on Sunday in connection with the murder of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Pandit in Greater Noida, reports said.
Owing to the protests by BJP leaders over the murder of Pandit, police have also imposed Section 144 in Dadri area of Gautam Buddha Nagar district.
 
According to reports, few vehicles were also torched in the area.
 
BJP leader  Vijay Pandit was shot dead by unidentified  assailants  in Greater Noida on Saturday, reports said.
 
"The men came on a motorcycle and fired five bullets at him and the leader died on the spot," CNN-IBN reported.
 
The attackers have escaped from the spot.
