Odisha: Husband beats wife to death for dancing in a wedding ceremony

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident a husband beat his wife to death in Paikapada village under Oupada Police station of Balasore district for allegedly dancing in the wedding ceremony of her neighbour on Saturday night.

Police identified the deceased as Sharmila Singh (30) and the accused as Ramachandra Singh.

Sources told UNI Ramachandra was very angry over the dancing of her wife in the wedding ceremony.

There was a heated exchange of words between the two over the issue.

In a fit of rage, Ramachandra thrashed her wife leading to her death.

On getting information Police reached the spot, seized the body and sent it for postmortem. Police detained the accused and interrogating him.
