Omar govt's tenure to end by this year

Srinagar, Sept 18 (IBNS) The tenure of the Jammu and Kashmir government-led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will end this year.
In view of this, the Election Commission of India on Saturday visited the Kashmir valley to asses the situation after the deluge that hit the state recently.
 
According to reports, in a press conference hold by the ECI here he said the commission will hold more consultations in Delhi before deciding on the timing for Kashmir Assembly polls. 
 
He further said that the elections will not hinder with relief work in flood-affected areas of Kashmir.
