Pakistan, China may have released poisonous gas to cause air pollution in India: BJP leader

Meerut/IBNS: In a bizarre statement, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vineet Agarwal Sharda has said Pakistan and China may have released some poisonous gas to cause air pollution in India, media reports said.

Saying that the two countries are afraid of India, Sharda said India must seriously consider Pakistan's role behind the air pollution leading people to wear masks in the national capital.

Sharda further said Pakistan was frustrated since Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah acted against the tactics of the neighbouring country.

Also he said Pakistan was frustrated because it could not register a single victory in wars against India.

The BJP leader did not spare Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and criticised him for blaming the stubble burning in Punjab and Haryana.

The air quality index has been in the severe category in New Delhi. The air pollution is also a big concern for several other cities.
