Pakistan government shares its 'preliminary findings' on Pulwama Paper

| @indiablooms | Mar 27, 2019, at 08:19 pm

Islamabad, Mar 27 (UNI) Pakistan on Wednesday claimed to have 'shared' preliminary findings with the Government of India 'after examining' the Indian report on Pulwama incident.

According to a statement from Pakistan Foreign office, Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad Ajay Bisaria was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Foreign Secretary and the findings on the Pulwama incident were "shared with him".

"Earlier, the Prime Minister of Pakistan (Imran Khan) had offered cooperation in investigation if credible evidence was provided by India. In response to this offer, a paper was handed over to Pakistan on February 27, 2019. Pakistan has acted with a high sense of responsibility and extended full cooperation," the statement claimed.

It has also sought further information or evidence from India to take the process forward, the statement said in Islamabad.
