Jammu, Sept 13 (IBNS) In a fresh ceasefire by Pakistani troopers, a BSF official was killed in firing along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri sector on Sunday.

A BSF official in Jammu told IBNS, "Mortars were fired from Pakistani side on Sunday evening  in which Assistant Sub-Inspector Sohan Lal  of the Border Security Force (BSF) was killed."

Ceasefire incident comes  just a day after the directors general of the two forces met in New Delhi and agreed to uphold the sanctity of the ceasefire.

Meanwhile, two persons were injured  in a mysterious explosion near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, police said.

Police said the mishap occurred when a duo, who were working in their fields, landed on an explosive device in Gagriyan village of the district.

Pakistan violated the ceasefire 192 times along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir till July 26, the government recently told at the Lok Sabha.
