Pavement dwellers killed in Ahemdabad road rage, teenager detained

Ahmedabad, July 23 (IBNS) Two persons were killed in Ahmedabad when a car ran over a family sleeping on a pavement. The vehicle was allegedly being driven by a 14-year-old boy, police sources said.

The incident took place at about 2.30 am on Wednesday. The young teen was allegedly alone in the Hyundai i20 car. Later, the boy was detained for interrogation.

Sources said a 24-year-old woman and her brother-in-law were killed in the accident while six others, belonging to the same family, were injured. They were admitted in a hospital and out of danger.
