PCC urge Rahul Gandhi to withdraw resignation

Puducherry, May 29 (UNI) Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) on Wednesday urged AICC President Rahul Gandhi to withdraw his resignation submitted in the wake of the party’s debacle in the just concluded Lok Sabha election.

In a unanimous resolution adopted at the executive committee meeting of the party here, it observed that Gandhi was functioning as a incomparable leader for the Congress party and the party will reach greater heights in future under his leadership only.

The PCC also vowed to support Rahul Gandhi in all his endeavors .

AICC Secretary and in-charge of Puducherry Sunil Dutt, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, his Cabinet Colleagues, Lok Sabha member V Vaithilingam, legislators and Congress functionaries attended the executive committee meeting, held under the presidentship of PCC President and PWD Minister A Namasivayam.
