Philippines factory fire kills 72
Manila, May 14 (IBNS) The death toll in a fire in a shoe factory at Manila city in Philippines has touched 72, media reports said.
"Definitely there will be charges here, because people died," acting national police chief Leonardo Espina was quoted as saying by BBC.
The incident occurred on Wednesday as sparks from welding work ignited flammable chemicals, reports said.
According to reports, 200-300 people were present in the building when the mishap occurred.
