PM Modi addresses Indian community in Netherlands, calls diaspora country's pride

Hague, June 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday interacted with the Indian community in the Netherlands.

During his address, PM Modi appreciated the role of Indian diaspora in Netherlands and Suriname.

He noted that Netherlands had the second largest Indian diaspora in entire Europe.

"Our diaspora are our ‘Rashtradoots.’ We are immensely proud of their  accomplishments and their passion towards India & India’s progress," Modi said at the address.

Modi also spoke about how a spirit of Jan Shakti and Jan Bhagidari has set the foundation for India’s transformation as well as fulfilling people’s aspirations.

He also thanked the people and government of the Netherlands for the "phenomenal hospitality during my visit."

"This visit was memorable and fruitful," said the Indian PM.
