PM Modi declares 2nd edition of Khelo India winter games open

Srinagar/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday declared the second edition of Khelo India Winter Games being held at world famous ski resort of Gulmarg open through video-conference from Delhi.

He wished participants, players from different parts of the country and organizers a success.

Jammu and Kashmir Governor and Union Minister Kiren Rajjiju besides advisors were also present on the occasion.

This was followed by march-past by the participating teams from 27 states and Union Territories (UTs).

Around 1,200 players and guests are participating in the winter games at Gulmarg where fresh snowfall was received this morning.
