PM Modi gets second dose of Covid-19 vaccine today

New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi got the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) here on Thursday.

The Prime Minister has also urged all eligible people to get vaccinated, in the fight against the deadly virus.

Modi tweeted, "Got my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS today. Vaccination is among the few ways we have, to defeat the virus. If you are eligible for the vaccine, get your shot soon."

Modi, 70, took the first dose of Covaxin, developed in India, on Mar 1.

Meanwhile, India, which is witnessing a massive surge in Covid-19 daily cases, on Thursday reported over 1 lakh new infections.
