PM Modi greets people of Himachal on state foundation day
New Delhi, Jan 25 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the people of Himachal Pradesh on their state foundation day.
"Best wishes to the people of Himachal Pradesh. I wish them development and progress," the Prime Minister's tweet in Hindi read.
On 18 December 1970 the State of Himachal Pradesh Act was passed by Parliament and the new state came into being on 25 January 1971.
