PM Modi pays tribute to Ram Manohar Lohia

New Delhi, Mar 23 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to Ram Manohar Lohia on the latter's birth anniversary.

"Tributes to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia on his birth anniversary. His thoughts on social empowerment & service continue to inspire us,' the Prime Minister's tweet read.

Lohia was an activist for Indian independence and a political leader.

He died in 1967.
