| @indiablooms | Jun 03, 2025, at 12:11 am

The all-party delegations, shouldered with the responsibility to travel across the different countries and explain Operation Sindoor as well as expose Pakistan's role in harbouring cross-border terrorism, are on their way home, and the one led by BJP leader Baijayant Panda lands in Delhi on Tuesday.

According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet the members of all the delegations after they return. The meeting could be held on June 9 or 10, NDTV reported, quoting sources.

The delegations are likely to brief PM Modi about the discussions they held with the world leaders.

Before that, the delegations will meet External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. The meeting with the team led by Baijayant Panda will be held at 2.30 pm on Tuesday.

Panda's team had visited Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Algeria. Shrikant Shinde's delegation will meet Jaishankar on June 6 at 7.30 pm.

The delegation headed by Sanjay Jha will reach Delhi on June 3 at 9.30 pm, the one led by Shrikant Shinde will reach the next morning.

Operation Sindoor was a fierce military operation launched by the Indian Air Force (IAF) on May 7 in response to the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 tourists who were enjoying their vacation at Baisaran Valley, which is referred to as India's Switzerland.

The operation aimed to dismantle terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

After the Pakistan Army again targeted Indian civilians and resorted to cross-border firing, the Indian Armed Forces retaliated, destroying defence systems of the hostile neighbour.

Following the same, India sent a total of seven all-party delegations to different countries to apprise them of the significance of Operation Sindoor and expose Pakistan's role in harbouring cross-border terrorism.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has led a delegation to US, Panama and Colombia among other countries.
