PM Modi to visit Bhopal tomorrow
New Delhi, Sept 9 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhopal on Thursday.
He will deliver the inaugural address at the 10th World Hindi Conference.
Meanwhile, leaders of the five organisations of survivors of the Union Carbide disaster in Bhopal on Tuesday expressed hope that PM Modi will visit the disaster site and surrounding contaminated area and meet with the representatives of survivors' organisations during his maiden visit to the city.
Through an application to the collector on Sept 4, the organisations have sought a 15 minute meeting with PM to discuss lingering issues of compensation, criminal justice and clean up.
