Bengaluru/New Delhi, May 3 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted Union minister Uma Bharti and Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on their birthdays.

Wishing Bharti, Modi tweeted, "Birthday wishes to @umasribharti Ji. Uma Ji’s passion towards a clean Ganga is well known. From a young age, she devoted herself to public service. I pray for her long and healthy life."

Bharti, 59, is presently the minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation in the Modi government.

Greeting Das on Twitter, Modi said: "Greetings to Jharkhand’s hardworking Chief Minister, @dasraghubar Ji. His humility has always been endearing. He has been working round the clock to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Jharkhand. May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life."

63-year old Das leads the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Jharkhand. He was sworn-in as the CM of the state in 2014.
