PM, V-P congratulates Kailash and Malala for winning Nobel Peace award

New Delhi, Oct 10 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President Hamid Ansari on Friday congratulated Nobel Peace Prize awardees Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai.
"Congratulations to Kailash Satyarthi on being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. The entire nation is proud of his momentous achievement. Kailash Satyarthi has devoted his life to a cause that is extremely relevant to entire humankind. I salute his determined efforts," the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Pakistan`s teenage rights activist Malala Yousafzai on being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. 
 
"Malala Yousafzai`s life is a journey of immense grit and courage. I congratulate her on being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize," the Prime Minister said.

The Vice President Hamid Ansari also congratulated Kailash Satyarthi on being awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, jointly with Malala Yusufzai of Pakistan. 
 
In his congratulatory message, he has said that this is a richly deserved recognition for two remarkable human beings, who have worked tirelessly and fearlessly, against all odds, to protect and promote the rights of the child.
 
Ansari said, “I extend my heartiest congratulations to Kailash Satyarthi on being awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, jointly with Malala Yusufzai of Pakistan. 
This is a richly deserved recognition for two remarkable human beings, who have worked tirelessly and fearlessly, against all odds, to protect and promote the rights of the child. While we salute the two laureates on their achievement, it is my hope that the path shown by them would inspire us to work together towards eradicating the deplorable crimes and injustices inflicted daily upon children in our society.”
