Surat, Dec 31 (IBNS): An anti-terror mock drill conducted by the Surat police in Gujarat has triggered a controversy as the person, who was posing as a terrorist, was seen wearing a skull cap.

According to reports, the police had carried the drill on Saturday.

Sparking off a controversy, a video of it has surfaced in the media.

Surat rural SP Pradip Shejul was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times: "We have been conducting mock drills at several locations to check the preparedness ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat summit. Today, it was held in a coastal location where a policeman posing as a terrorist was wearing a skull cap. It was avoidable."
