Police release names of ten top militants active in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar/UNI: Jammu and Kashmir police issued a list of top ten militants active in the Kashmir valley.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar released the names of the militants through its Twitter handle.

"Top 10 #targets: #Old #terrorists- Salim Parray, Yousuf Kantroo, Abbas Sheikh, Reyaz Shetergund, Farooq Nali, Zubair Wani & Ashraf Molvi. #New #terrorists- Saqib Manzoor, Umer Mustaq Khandey & Wakeel Shah: IGP Kashmir," the IGP tweeted.

This year, over 85 militants, including top commanders of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), have been killed by security forces in different encounters in the valley, particularly in the south Kashmir. About a dozen militants were also allowed to surrender during the encounters.
