Pranab Mukherjee wishes people of Bolivia ahead of National Day

New Delhi, Aug 5 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee on Friday extended his greetings and felicitations to the government and people of the Plurinational Republic of Bolivia on the eve of their National Day.

In a message to Juan Evo Morales Ayma, the President of the Plurinational Republic of Bolivia, the President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the friendly people of Bolivia on the occasion of your National Day."

"India and Bolivia enjoy traditionally warm and friendly relations," Mukherjee said.

Mukherjee said he hoped to see the tie between the two nations grow stronger with time

"I am confident that our ties will continue to strengthen and diversify in the coming years," he said.

"I look forward to working closely with you to further the cooperation between our two countries," Mukherjee said.

He said: "I take this opportunity to convey to you my best wishes for your good health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Bolivia.”
