President of India pays tributes to former President V V Giri

New Delhi, Aug 10 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee paid floral tributes to Varahagiri Venkata Giri, former President of India on occasion of his birth anniversary at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday.


President Pranab Mukherjee, officers and staff paid floral tributes in front of a portrait of the former President in the Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

V V Giri was the fourth President of the Republic of India from August 24, 1969 to August 24, 1974.
