President of India’s message on the eve of Independence Day of Malta

New Delhi, Sep 20 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the Republic of Malta on the eve of their Independence Day (Sep 21, 2016).

In a message to the President of the Republic of Malta, Marie Louise Coleiro Preca,  the Indian President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the friendly people of Malta on the occasion of your Independence Day.

India and Malta have traditionally shared warm and friendly relations. I am confident that in the coming years, the cooperation between our two countries will be further strengthened for the mutual benefit of our peoples.

I take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for your good health and personal well being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Malta."
