Priyanka Gandhi hugs Sheikh Hasina, says it was long 'overdue'

New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday shared a touching image of her meeting with Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina.

In the picture, Priyanka could be seen hugging Hasina and said it was long 'overdue'.

The Congress leader said Hasina will always remain an inspiration for her.

" An overdue hug from Sheikh Hasina Ji whom I have been waiting to meet again for a long time. Her strength in overcoming deep personal loss and hardship and fighting for what she believed in with bravery and perseverance is, and always will be a great inspiration for me," Priyanka captioned the image.

Hasina is visiting India from Oct 3 to 6.

Shre met top Indian leaders, including PM Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind, during the visit.
