Properties worth several lakh of rupees gutted in fire in Assam’s Hatsingimari

Guwahati/IBNS: Properties worth several lakh of rupees reduced to ashes after a fire broke out at Hatsingimari area in Assam’s South Salmara Mankachar district.

According to the reports, the incident took place at Manulyapara bazaar area near Hatsingimari on Friday.

The fire broke out at a hardware shop in the market place and it spread out to other nearby shops, business establishments.

Following the incident, locals were engaged to control the situation and also informed police and fire service.

Later, fire tenders had rushed to the area and managed to control the situation.
