Puducherry: Three youths arrested for raping school girl
Puducherry, Apr 7 (UNI) Auroville police on Saturday night arrested three youths who allegedly raped a 15 year old school girl after making her unconscious.
According to police, the girl from Navarkulam in Villippuram district of Taminadu was studying in a school at Gorimedu here. She was having a love affair with an engineering college student Naresh.
In this backdrop,trouble erupt between the two and the girl stopped meeting him.Irate over this, Naresh threatened the girl and took her to the house of his friend Raja at Saiderapet on Saturday morning.
There he gave her cool drinks laced with intoxicating drugs.
When the girl lost her conscious,Naresh allegedly raped her,followed by Raja and another friend Sooriya.
Since, the girl who left the house in the morning failed to return even after a long time,her parents lodged a complaint with Auroville police who registered a case.
Meanwhile,the girl was found coming to her house in a bad condition around 8PM yesterday and she narrated the incident to her parents.The parents informed the police following which the three were arrested.
They were produced in the house of a judge last night itself and remanded to judicial custody.
