Pulwama: Grenade attack on CRPF bunker, no injury

Srinagar, May 22 (UNI) Militants hurled a hand grenade towards security forces guarding a bank in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said on Wednesday.

They said militants lobbed a hand grenade towards a CRPF bunker outside State Bank of India (SBI) at Pulwama town on Tuesday night.

 

However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded without causing any damage.

Security guard fired few rounds in the air, they said adding later security forces conducted search operation in the area but the militants had managed to escape
