Punjab: Five injured in road mishap

Phagwara, Apr 23 (UNI): Five persons including four members of a family sustained serious injuries in a collision between a truck and a Nawanshahr bound car near Chiherru on National Highways on Tuesday morning.

The reports received here said that the truck driver lost his control and jumped over the divider and collided with the car on the other side of the highway, injuring Nawanshahr resident Anil Kumar, his Wife Reena Rani and their two daughters Gunika and Yashika. Meanwhile the truck driver was admitted in local Civil Hospital.

Senior Medical Officer Dr Davinder Singh said that the condition of injured were stable.

Police have registered a case.
