R P Thakur visits JKI Joinery Unit, Pampore in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar/IBNS: Principal Secretary Industries and Commerce, Ranjan Prakash Thakur today visited Government Joinery Mills of Jammu Kashmir Industries (JKI) Ltd. located at Pampore and took stock of the unit's functioning.

On this occasion Managing Director of Jammu and Kashmir Industries informed that services of reputed designers are being sought, so the products being manufactured are as per current trends and market demands.

During his visit, Principal Secretary was also briefed about the efforts being made by the organization for increasing its marketing outreach such as the creation of brochures catalogues and through tie-ups with various e-market platforms such as Amazon.

Thakur appreciated the efforts being put by JKI management for running the units on commercial lines and directed the management's focus on marketing the products being manufactured by various units of JKI.
