New Delhi, Mar 25 (IBNS): With barely few days to go for the Lok Sabha Election 2019, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Monday made a poll promise by announcing a Rs. 72,000 minimum income scheme for 20 per cent poor families in the country.

According to the scheme, as Gandhi said, will help people to touch the "minimum income line" of Rs. 12,000.

"This will eradicate poverty in the country," the Congress president said.
