Amethi, May 3 (UNI) Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday urged every voter of his parliamentary constituency Amethi to vote for him, so that all the pending development projects could be completed on a faster pace.

Seeking votes for his party, Gandhi asked electorate of Amethi to support him on May 6, so that the constituency gets all development projects it requires for faster growth.

Explaining to people as to why he is contesting from Kerala's Wayanad,Gandhi said, "You have given me so much love that on its strength, now I have tried to connect North to South and East to West.''

''Amethi is my karmabhoomi , which calls me to work for farmers, youths, poor, women and traders. BJP has made just 15-20 business houses the owner of the entire country but for Congress, the owner is the people of the country," he said.
Amethi goes to poll in the fifth phase on May 6.
