Latur, Oct 13 (UNI) Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday slammed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government and the media, accusing Mr Modi of having destroyed the country by not resolving the problems of farmers, youths, common man and asked where are the promised ‘Acche Din’.

Kicking off his first election rally for the party nominee from Ausa assembly constituency of Maharashtra after being attacked by the leaders of ruling party and other parties of running away from poll arena due to fear of humble defeat in assembly election, he also accused the media of not focusing on the burning issues of unemployment, loan waiver for farmers and other public-related issues.

Addressing the gathering, Gandhi asked a few questions to the people whether ‘Acche Din Aaye Kya’, is there unemployment, have the youths got jobs, have farmers got the benefits of loan waiver scheme and so on.

Talking about the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis-led BJP government in the state, the Congress leader accused the state government of having cheated farmers on the issue of loan waiver and assured that the Congress will give total loan waver to farmers if it wins election.

All sections of society were unhappy with the ruling BJP government, he said and added that the next chief minister will be from the Congress.

He exuded confidence that the Congress party will win this election as its ideology is in the hearts of people of Maharashtra.
