Raincoat Jibe: Congress only interested in politicisation, says MV Naidu

| | Feb 11, 2017, at 05:22 pm
New Delhi, Feb 11 (IBNS): Slamming the Congress and coming in aid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said that the opposition is interested in politicisation of issues.

"Congress disrupting parliament on flimsy grounds shows they are interested only in politicization of issues rather than discuss & debate," his tweet read.

Supporting the Prime Minister's 'Raincoat' jibe, Naidu said that the comment was a fair critical analysis.

"Compared to the derogatory remarks made by Congress leaders on Modi ji, his remark was much sedate and a criticism on what really happened," he said.

Naidu also warned the opposition against disruptions and said that each disruption costs money and delays legislation.

"Opposition must realize that every disruption costs money and delays legislation for which the voters sent them to the parliament," Naidu's tweet read.
