Rajnath Singh flays Pakistan for its 'excessive militarisation and wrong policies'

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday said excessive militarisation and wrong policies in Pakistan have led its Prime Minister to make arrangement of a plane to attend a global event.

Speaking at the award ceremony of Defence Accounts Department here, Singh said, "In an emerging economy like India, there is need of having better financial management. There is a living example in our neighbourhood.

Because of their focus on excessive militarisation and wrong policies without financial progress, the situation has led for the neighbouring country prime minister to make arrangement for a plane to attend a global event."

On proving funding for terror activities, the Minister said, "The international agency FATF can anytime blacklist Pakistan for terror funding."
