Patna, Jan 12 (TheBIharPost/IBNS): Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan was admitted to a hospital in Patna on late Thursday evening after sudden complains of breathlessness.

He has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Paras Hospital located in the Raja Bazar locality of the town.

A team of doctors is keeping a close watch on his condition. He is currently fine, the doctors said.

Soon after getting the information, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his deputy chief minister son Tejashwi Yadav reached the hospital to inquire about his condition.

Paswan, who is the national president of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), holds Food and Public Distribution portfolio in the Narendra Modi government.

Earlier in the day, Paswan criticized the BJP for backing the human chain programme of the Bihar government and said NDA partners should collectively take any decisions.
