Road accident claims life in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, May 21(UNI) A person died on the spot and two injured when a tractor collided with a truck on Chamba-Pathankot National Highway at Chehali (Hadottha) in Himachal Pradesh, police said on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Vijay Kumar, resident of Kangra district while the injured were referred to Dr Rajinder Prasad Medical College, Chamba

According to Police Chief Chamba Monika Bhutunguru , the tractor driver died on the spot while truck driver and one more sustained injuries.

A case has been registered for negligent driving, police added.
