Robbers stabs jeweler, gangrape wife

According to reports, some armed masked men stabbed the husband, an owner of a jewellery store 9 times and looted his home in Vaishali Nagar region.

The robbers also gang raped the wife who woke up after the chaos at home.

They escaped after robbing the house.

It has been learnt that, the robbers jumped the boundary wall and barged into the house after of the home breaking open the kitchen's wooden window grill.

When the jeweller raised an alarm, he was allegedly stabbed nine times with a knife on his stomach, back and other parts.

They also hit him on his head with a blunt object and he fell unconscious.

His elderly father was also assaulted and tied.

The robbers tied the elderly person so tightly that he fractured his leg.

Then when the wife woke up and she tried to raise the alarm, two of the robbers switched off the lights and raped her by holding her son at knife-point.

The other gang members, meanwhile, went on a looting spree.

They didn't even spare the rape survivor and snatched her ornaments too. They robbed Rs. 10000 cash, 12 Kg gold and 6 mobile phones from the house and escaped through the same window.

Thereafter, the 5-year-old son of jeweller untied the hands of the family members.

The family of man informed the Vaishali Nagar police about the incident and injured father-son were rushed to the hospital.

The condition of the jeweller is reported to be critical and has been operated twice.

The family has reported that there were 4 robbers.

After the CCTV footage from the cameras are installed near the home was checked, it came to light that the robbers entered the home at 3:15 pm and came out at 4:35 pm.

The police are looking for evidence in the video. Police have launched a manhunt to track the culprits.

The police recovered gloves and T-shirts from the spot.
