S Jaishankar in Bangladesh, describes his meeting with AK AbdulMomen as 'fruitful'
Dhaka, Aug 20 (IBNS): Visting Dhaka, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday met his Bangladeshi counterpart AK Abdul Momen and said his interaction with the neighbouring nation's minister was 'fruitful'.
Jaishankar said he is looking forward to host Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi in October.
Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar has said Bangladesh and India have agreed upon the safe, speedy and sustainable return of Rohingyas to Myanmar's Rakhine state, reported Dhaka Tribune.
Jaishankar is visiting the neighbouring nation for three days.
Speaking to the media after the bilateral discussions, EAM @DrSJaishankar said that he had a fruitful interaction with Foreign Minister H.E. The Indian Minister met his Bangladeshi counterpart Bangladesh counterpart Dr AK Abdul Momen at state guesthouse Jamuna.
He described the relationship shared between India and Bangladesh as a model for other South Asian countries.
