Sarada scam: TMC leader Kunal Ghosh reaches ED office following summon

Kolkata/UNI: Trinamool Congress spokesman Kunal Ghosh on Tuesday appeared before the investigators of the Enforcement Directorate, which is probing the money trails in the multi-crore rupees Sarada scam.

Ghosh, who had been arrested by the West Bengal police in the case before the CBI had taken up the case following a Supreme Court ruling, made himself available before the ED officials at the CGO complex in Salt Lake as per the scheduled time.

Before entering into the ED office, Ghosh told reporters that he would appear as many time he is summoned by the investigation agency.

He said all his documents regarding the case have been already submitted to the ED.

However, during a fresh investigation by the new officials, the ED summoned Mr Ghosh to clarify some points in the scam, which plundered crores of money of the poor investors across the eastern part of the country.
