SC reserves order on plea seeking cancellation of CBSE medical entrance test till June 15
New Delhi, June 12 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Friday reserved its order on the CBSE All India Pre-Medical Test for admission to the MBBS course till June 15 after the entrance examination has been marred in controversy over leak of paper.
The apex court will decide on June 15 whether a reexamination will be held.
The Haryana police on Friday asked the court to cancel the exam in view of the fact that 44 beneficiaries have been identified.
It also said that the number is likely to go up.
The court had earlier granted one week time to Haryana Police to confirm the number of beneficiaries who allegedly indulged in cheating during the exam.
The board was scheduled to declare the results on June 5 .
Around 6.3 lakh students appeared for the exam, of whom 3,722 will get admission to medical institutes across India.
