Guntur, Dec 19 (IBNS): A school girl of class-VIII was allegedly raped by her hostel warden in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district, media reports said.

The accused was identified as K Jeyraj who was the warden of St Marks Children’s Home in Palapatti village. He is absconding now, police said.

Sources said there were 13 girls and 17 boys in the hostel and they study in a government- aided school nearby.

The girl fell ill and refused to go to the hostel. Later when her family found out what exactly had happened to her, they filed a police complaint, reports said.

Jeyraj reportedly attacked the child twice this month.
